Comcast SportsTech Welcomes New Partners PGA TOUR and WWE

We’re excited to announce that our network of partners has grown with the addition of PGA TOUR and WWE—two iconic sports brands that will join business leaders, broadcast professionals, and a consortium of sports organizations to advise and mentor the startups that are changing the game in sports technology.

“We’re thrilled to welcome PGA TOUR and WWE, two global sports and entertainment brands, into our Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech partner consortium to engage with these entrepreneurs as they seek to change the way consumers experience sports,” said Jenna Kurath, Vice President, Startup Partnerships at Comcast and Head of Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech. “This shared commitment to developing the next generation of sports technology builds upon NBC Sports’ longstanding and trusted partnerships with both organizations, from partnering with the PGA TOUR to deliver unparalleled live tournament coverage, to Peacock being the exclusive home of the WWE Network for fans across the country.”

Already, a number of our alumni have developed lasting relationships collaborating with partners. Our first cohort secured 16 business deals and 29 pilots and partnerships with our partners. What separates our accelerator is the opportunity for selected startups to gain valuable access which translates to deep industry relationships and helps partners achieve measurable results for their business.
